"...effortlessly entertaining ...sublime five part harmonies ...the pace of their performance is breathtaking - I recommend seeing Flats and Sharps at the earliest opportunity. If you can prove your disappointment, I'll personally send you a cash refund." - Mark Ellen - R2 Magazine

Hailing from Penzance, Cornwall, in the South West of England, Flats and Sharps blur the lines between Bluegrass, Folk, & Pop, gaining recognition for their own highly original songs as well as their blistering renditions of Bluegrass classics.

These five incredible young musicians honed their skills in hundreds of live performances over the past six years, charming and wowing audiences along the way. They have come a long way from their humble beginning busking in Penzance as 17 year-olds, to performing at the Proms in Hyde Park, London, and at scores of festivals throughout the UK and Ireland.

In April 2017 on their first Australian tour they delighted audiences at the National Folk Festival, Canberra and the Fairbridge Music Festival in WA, and have now been invited to the home of Bluegrass, the USA, to represent the UK in this year’s International Bluegrass Music Association’s “World of Bluegrass" in September.

"Flats and Sharps performances at Fairbridge Festival were nothing short of sensational. The standard of musicianship, rapport with audience and high entertainment value gathered more and more momentum as they dug into the event. Their final performance to over 1000 people on the final gig was one of the festivals most significant events in recent years. I wouldn't hesitate to book this band again in the future." - Rod Vervest (Fairbridge Festival Artistic Director)
